Where I live: Busenberg

This is the beautiful little village i live in.
It's part of the Dahner Felsenland near Pirmasens
in Rhineland-Palatinate.

We won the Hammerdorf contest in the year 2010,
a contest between some villages on the TV station SWR.
Winning this contest gave us the "Hammer" (a big sculpture formed like a hammer) and a free festival payed by the SWR.

During this contest we had to handle tasks like:

• to arrange an "Oktoberfest" in only one hour
• to build a little castle
• doing a "Monsterparty" in that castle

After these tasks, there was a final voting in a TV show on the SWR. We had to gain the most calls from the spectators so we had to do some Merchandising, like you can see on the right.
